United Electrical Industries Ltd., a State Level Public Enterprise, has been successfully operating in the electrical engineering sector since 1950. This Company is one of the pioneers in energy meter manufacturing and Switch gear items. UEI Ltd. has so far supplied over 40 lakhs Electromechanical Meters and 50 lakhs of Electronic Meters for domestic and industrial purpose.
The Company´s products are BIS approved with ISI marking. The Company´s quality system is ISO 9001-2000 accredited. The Energy Meters produced are type tested and approved in various Test Labs like ERDA - Baroda, ERTL North - Delhi, CPRI - Bangalore, and ETDC - Chennai etc. This company has a high level of productivity with a monthly production capacity of more than 1 lakh Energy Meters. The Company is capable of producing Energy Meters of any specification on bulk basis maintaining quality standards of BIS, IEC etc. The Company has an effective R&D Division to take care of latest technology changes. Company has a work force with qualified and experienced hands.
